Espada Sounds Off On ‘Political Assassination’ (Updated)
Here’s a brief clip, compliments of Capital Tonight’s Kaitlyn Ross, of Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada Jr.’s hastily-called press conference in response to AG Andrew Cuomo’s latest lawsuit against him.
According to Ross, Espada railed against the AG’s latest legal maneuver, accusing Cuomo of attempting to commit a “political assassination” and throwing “political stink bombs.”
“This will not distract me from my job,” Espada said, insisting that the janitorial job training program depicted by Cuomo as a “sham,” is in fact legit.
“…These are not facts, and I look forward to answering the allegations,” the senator added.
UPDATE: Video of the entire presser, which lasted about ten minutes, appears after the jump, thanks to YNN’s Mike Whittemore.
