Massa Under Investigation
This just coming from the Associated Press.
The House ethics committee has opened what they are calling a “full and complete investigation” into the sexual harassment allegations against disgraced former NY-29 Congressman Eric Massa. The Democrat resigned last month, right before reports surfaced suggesting he had sexually harassed several male staff members. Because Massa resigned, he cannot be investigated by the House Ethics Committee. The panel will instead look into what other Congressional staffers knew about Massa’s conduct, when they knew it, and what they did with the information.
Governor Paterson has still not called a special election in the 29th Congressional District, despite pressure from several Republicans.
