So, expect some breaks in blogging today as I am on the road to Niagara Falls for the DRC straw poll and will only be able to post as long as the laptop battery and the air card hold out.

Kudos to “Capital Tonight” video producer Mike Whittemore, who is handling the driving duty to facilitate (or perhaps “indulge” is a better word) my obsessive need to be online at all times.

Whittemore looks very smiley and good-natured in this photo. He says to check back in three hours to see if he can maintain this cheery demeanor.

We’ll be live tonight from WNY, where virtually all of the Democratic candidates – and a few who are either 1) not yet announced (AG Andrew Cuomo, potential AG contender Liz Holtzman), or 2) not running (Gov. David Paterson) are expected to be on hand. It should be interesting.
