Links Speak Louder Than Words
As Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy continues to insist the Republican Governors Association is indeed still backing him (assuming they ever were), a reader encourged me to take a look at the RGA Website for a clue as to where the group’s loyalties really lie.
The RGA’s page about the New York governor’s race features a live link to Rick Lazio’s campaign site, but not to Levy’s.
Levy can take some solace in the fact that he’s at least listed as a contender in the race, which the third GOP primary candidate, Carl Paladino is not.
Meanwhile, the National Governors Association, on the other hand, lists both Paladino and Lazio – with links! – and even Ken Goewey (although his name is misspelled), but not Levy, or, for that matter, Warren Redlich.
