Former Top Aide To Gov. Paterson Surrenders To Authorities
A top aide to Governor David Paterson surrendered to Bronx prosecutors Thursday. He’s now facing misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a domestic violence case that tanked his boss’ political career.
Five months after news of David Johnson’s alleged attack on his then-girlfriend first emerged – along with details of the governor’s involvement in the mess – the suspended staffer will have his day in court.
