Sen. Chuck Schumer, who has yet to even publicly recognize his GOP/Conservative opponent, Jay Townsend, over whom he has wide leads in both fundraising and public opinion polls, is letting loose this week with a TV ad blitz that features three – count ‘em, three! – new campaign spots.

The trio reiterates the senator’s focus on the middle class, with one focusing on the college tuition tax cut that was also featured in his first ad of the campaign season.

Another touts his efforts to preserve jobs at the Rochester Hickey Freeman plant. The third lauds a monthly tax deduction for commuters.
