I share the goal of the protesters, but do not favor their tactics.
The millionaires’ surtax should be extended. It will bring in about a $1 billion in the new budget, and $4-5 billion in FY 2012.

The Governor and the Senate GOP oppose extension, and it likely will not happen. It does have majority support in the Assembly Dem. caucus.

The argument that it will cost jobs has no merit.
