Their gigs can be seen on YouTube.Obama has the timing and instincts of a standup comedian; and if he loses in Nov.,, he should get big bucks for doing this gig.When I learned that NJ Gov. Chris Christy was going to attend, I sent Kimmel some gags to consider. He didn't use them. In fact, his staff didn't even thank me for sending the suggestions.My jokes were weak, methinks, but they would have employed some good video. I suggested that Kimmel should say that Christy's favorite speech lines, directed to his critics, were:"we NJerians need to dedicate ourselves to what the Greeks wrote so many years ago: to tame the savageness of man and to make gentle the life of this world." And then have Christy say that he treats his critics as delicate as an expensive Steinway piano. And then show Christy as the irate professor taking the axe to the piano that Laurel and Hardy had finally gotten upstairs in the mansion, in the classic The Music Box.Well, I did say it needed more editing perhaps The WH Correspondence Dinner
