Gov. Andrew Cuomo raised $5.8 million over the last six months and has $19.3 million in cash on hand for an re-election that is still two and a half years away.

Cuomo’s contributions include $31,000 from supermarket magnate and potential Republican New York City mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis.

Hollywood producer Steve Bing maxed out to Cuomo, giving him $60,800 total, with contributions of $19,700 and $41,000. Bing co-hosted a December 2011 fundraiser for the governor.

The governor also received a $2,000 contribution from Ken Raske, president of Greater New York Hospital Association. The old campaign account of ex-Republican Sen. Mike Balboni, who would later take a job in the ill-fated Spitzer administration, donated $1,500.

The lobbying shop of Manatt Phelps, which Cuomo trageted as attorney general in the pay-to-play pension fund probe, donated $5,000.

Cuomo has also spent heavily on polling and consultants, dumping thousands on surveys over the last half year.

And in a sign that Cuomo is concerned with appearance, the campaign refunded a $15,000 contriubtion from Howard Zemsky, who the governor named to lead Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority.
