Gun control advocates are making another push for microstamping legislation. The goal is to make it easier for police to trace any bullet back to the gun it was fired from. But it’s being met with strong opposition from the Senate Republicans, who are not conviced microstamping is effective enough to justify the added cost to manufacturers. But supporters are hoping that getting the issue more attenion will build support. Senator Jose Peralta explains.
