Speaker Silver on Leadership Award, Pay Raises and More
Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver is set to receive an award from the National Conference of State Legislatures. He’s being recognized for leadership in tough times, including after 9/11. Silver explains what the recognition means to him, and discusses some upcoming issues he expects the legislature to deal with.
