AARP Discusses 2012 Voter Guide
Medicare was a key issue in this year’s elections even before Mitt Romney selected Paul Ryan as his running mate. But Ryan’s presence on the ticket and his proposal to turn Medicare into a voucher system has kicked this up several notches. Democrats are on the attack. But the GOP is firing back, insisting so-called Obamacare cuts Medicare spending by more than 700 billion dollars. The AARP wants to cut through all the noise and arm voters with facts. Associate State Director for Advocacy and Voter Education Chris Widelo discusses.
