just saw this - sorry but I have to respond to Schenectoady. First class screen name, by the way. As for your comment on Harry Wilson, you must be thinking of another race. Wilson did great in Western NY - the guy took all but 9 counties out of what, 62?
I didn't see him whine about Paladino or anything. He's a pretty positive guy. I mean he should be, he's got a lot going for him in life.
Since the race, I watch more the business shows than the political shows, but Wilson is like a semi-regular guest on a couple and I know one show he hosts. He's all business, like he's moved on, even though I hope for the sake of the party he hasn't .
Seriously, he's the closest we've come in a long time. I never heard a negative word from him about any Republican. He's got that style. He saves his criticism for talking about pensions and investments and the mistakes we've all made.

There are a few errors in your post but I agree with your message.

Did it ever occur to you that this is perhaps a fabricated spat? I am only suggesting this because both Clarey and Paladino have strongly supported the same candidates like new Albany County Legislator Busch. Busch actively helped Clarey prevent candidates from opposing democrats last year. I would like to hear a justification from Paladino he could support her and Don's efforts.

This is nothing more than Clarey helping democrats by destroying other races. Nothing new for him. We need a new chairman in Albany county. Paladino was a former candidate for governor and this is how he is treated? I voted for Lazio in the primary but I think Paladino deserves more respect from a democrat hack posing as a republican county chairman.

Don Clarey IS the rank and file, where have been? Don has been working with democrats as demonstrated in last elections where he intentionally did field ANY republican candidates for 8 county offices.

Paladino was a disaster for governor and Don is a disaster period.

I agree with everything Chairman Clarey says except his Harry Wilson argument. Wilson ran a limp campaign and didn't even pull the WNY vote could have gone for him since they came out for Paladino. The rank and file GOP is just as tired of Wilson's whining as we are of Paladino's bombast.
