NYSERDA’S Murray on Solar Initiatives
Over the past few weeks the state has taken several steps towards bolstering solar power in New York.
Last week, Gov. Cuomo announced that $107 million dollars was being made available to businesses and municipalities for installing photovoltaic systems, doubling the state’s commitment from previous years.
Today, Cuomo officials announced the governor had signed a series of bills designed to make solar power more affordable to homeowners as well as businesses. NYSERDA President Frank Murray discusses what this means.
