I am tired of all of this. Didn’t anyone, not just Silver, but Tom DiNapoli and his staff, the Assembly Counsel Bill Collins and the Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and his staff feel ashamed they were doing this? Did they not worry that they were enabling Vito Lopez to strike again?

I am positive any investigation into this will indicate that the closed agreement was legal and Governor Cuomo will be satisfied with that conclusion. But it does not make it right and there needs to be consequences for hiding and failing to warn of confirmed and credible gross misconduct.
