DiNapoli To Fundraise Post-Presidential Debate
A reader forwarded me this invitation for Comptroller Tom DiNapoli’s fundraiser Oct. 17 that promises a “lively panel discussion” on the 2012 presidential election.
Tickets to the event start at $100 per person.
President Obama and his Republican opponent Mitt Romney will be squaring off in a debate at Hofstra University a day earlier.
From the fundraising email:
Last week, I joined Democrats from across the country at the national convention in Charlotte to rally around President Obama and his message of shared opportunity, shared responsibility and shared prosperity. I’ve returned to New York feeling enthusiastic about the vision the president presented to the nation and energized for the hard work leading up to election day.
