He is temporarily leasing a home in Cold Spring while his kids and partner still live in NYC. He is not a lifelong resident or even a longtime resident or even a recent resident.

I am voting for Nan Hayworth.

He never moved to the Hudsony valley. His partner and 3 children still reside in Manhattan. A temporary lease in cold spring dosnt make you a resident......It just makes you a carpetbagger

This isn't about moving from New York City to the Hudson Valley. I moved from Washington State to the Hudson Valley. This is about someone who still lives in Manhattan deciding to play a game called "pick a district" and then claiming to be a resident of that district and its communities. Mr. Maloney purchased a 500 square foot cabin in affluent Cold Spring. He told Liz Benjamin a few months back that he's "living" there. Really? A 500 square foot cabin? And then in today's paper he now claims that he's planning on building a larger house on that property and will be moving their with his family within 12 months. Huh? Which one is it?

Nan Hayworth is probably one of the most effective and hard working members of Congress. Maloney's three (orchestrated) supporters know he has no money, is losing in all the polls, is a far left liberal like Nancy Pelosi , and has so many ethical problems that he couldn't get support from from the liberal NY Times in a primary. He lies about where he lives and , be sure, Maloney is not Hillary Clinton or Bobby Kennedy. The thought is so ridiculous it's funny. One more thing, the Tea Party commercials were silly. The other ad was better but still untruthful. I checked, Hayworth has a 50 percent rating with the Tea Party. Last time I was in school that was failing. People in the district will agree with the ad because he is not honest and is a guy who is desperate to win some election. Sorry, it won't be this one.

According to Nan's campaign, this campaign video was released to address the "two negative ads recently released against us". Negative ads? The spots merely pointed out Nan's voting record and likened her politics to the self proclaimed Tea Party activists.

However, in her response, Nan did not address one issue raised in Maloney's spot or the PAC's spot. It is like they've acknowledged the truth of the criticism by Nan's opponents, and responded with ad hominem attacks against Maloney, rather than address the truths in Maloney's commercials. This will be an interesting seven weeks here in the NY18th!

A desperate, divisive and dumb strategy. Worked real well against Robert Kennedy and Hilary Clinton, who moved into NY from other states and were overwhelmingly elected to the United States Senate. Jackass teabaggers. Hope they get utterly swamped and humiliated ten times over in November. Fascist scum.

I moved to the Hudson Valley from NYC too. So what? Does that mean I don't belong here? Or that my voice should not be heard? Or that I am not one of Nan's chosen few? Nan's Tea Party politics have no place in the NY 18th. She only represents the interests of the 1%. It is time for her to go.
