There is a good editorial from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel re the weekend NFL game and the replacement refs.
It can be googled at “the fans are the victims of nfl owners greed”.
****The NFL owners want to do what is being done all through the private sector, and now being promoted for public employees.
And that is changing the traditional defined benefit retirement system to a 401(k) type system.And the real refs. don’t want the change.

And re Andy Williams, he was a close friend of RFK and Ethel.
After RFK’s murder, he continued to be close with Ethel.
When asked why he didn’t marry Ethel, he would respond that Ethel’s Catholicism would preclude that.
Ethel believed that RFK was watching over her, and she couldn’t marry another.
This involves heavy stuff on death, the after life, and other debatable issues.
Pehaps others can respond and give me some answers.
In any case, RIP Mr. Williams.

As I read the article describing the debate, it did not say if Owens asked Doheny what would replace Obamacare if it is repealed.Last weekend, Romney said that ER would still be available for those without insurance.Data show that between 40-50 million Americans are without health insurance, either short-term or long-term.What is the GOP Congressional plan to deal with that?Romney can dismiss Obamacare, and pledge that he will “repeal” it on Day 1 of a Romney Presidency.
But he can’t legally do that.
Congress can, but it will take both houses to repeal.
And right now, the polling shows that the Dems. are likely to keep their slim majority in the Senate.POTUS Romney can give states waivers, to opt out of Obamacare, but would Dem. governors do that?
