NYCAN’s Grant on Getting Kids Ready for College
The governor’s education reform commission has been holding public hearings all summer to hear ideas for improving New York’s public schools. One person offering up a suggestion to improve college preparedness is New York Campaign for Achievement Now’s Christina Grant. She explains why she thinks making college classes and financial assistance available to high school students could make a big difference in schools.
