Ravi Batra Explains His JCOPE Resignation To Cuomo In 3,430 Words
Vintage Batra. Enough said. For your late Monday afternoon reading pleasure.
There’s a lot of good stuff in here. The following passage (right at the end) is my favorite:
To paraphrase that great American poet, a world icon whom Pandit Nehru quoted on August 15, 1947 in his “Tryst with Destiny” speech as the first prime minister of a free India, Robert Frost:
“…Albany is lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.I await either an invitation or a signal, so I know what direction to take. Old world honor, permits such flexibility. Methinks, Thomas Jefferson, a hero of mine, is smiling.”
