Brooks Ad: Slaughter ‘Not For Us’
As we enter the final 12 days until Nov. 6, campaigns are entering their closing argument mode.
And Republican Maggie Brooks is out with a new TV ad hitting Democratic Rep. Louise Slaughter in these final days for “looking out for herself.”
Essentially, the TV ad charges that Slaughter has spent too much time in Washington and has become so part of the system she’s not paying attention to constituents.
“The middle class is struggling, but not entrenched Washington insider Louise Slaughter,” said Brooks for Congress Campaign Manager Noah Lebowitz. “She’s voted herself pay raises, she’s travelled the world on the taxpayer dime, and after spending twenty-six years in Washington, she’s now a multimillionaire. Worse, she’s done it all while hiking taxes on small businesses, killing jobs. Now that Louise Slaughter is clearly only looking out for herself, she’s just not for us anymore.”
