“Matt Doheny wants to be Salesman in Chief of NY 21”

The Semi Conductor industry is a perfect match for the
burgeoning Semi-Conductor Industry being developed in NNY. “Steven DiMeo,
the president of an economic development agency called Mohawk Valley EDGE, said
he briefed Mr. Owens’s staff before his visit to Taiwan on opportunities to
bring a computer chip manufacturer to Marcy in Oneida County” It was a
clear case of Congressman Owens acting on behalf of our district to bring JOBS
to NNY in the Semi-Conductor Industry.
He wasn’t looking for anything but to avoid missing the opportunity to get
our District and State economically speaking, and to give the people of our NYS
gainful employment.

Now contrast this to a Matt Doheny, whose career was as a
‘Vulture Capitalist was to target companies at risk, move in with investment
capitol and immediately downsize the work force, a quick fix to improve the
balance sheet; and then sell the particular company in question for a fast
profit for his investors. No State building there! No JOB creation either, but
a lot of JOB loss and family misery, the usual package investment companies
looking for a quick buck on ‘Wall
Street’ manage to bring into our lives to dim the future of the American
‘Middle Class’ and workers in general.

The challenger Matt Doheny was almost laughed out of the
race when his job creation schemes included getting elected to Congress, but then
continuing to still working for his investment company to attract companies to
NNY; or continue to lend start-ups seed money to get going there. The same ethics group that cited Rep. Owens,
Taiwan trip as being a possible, underline possible ethics breach, said they
were amazed that Mr. Doheny could be so naive about the obvious breach of
ethics of not being active with his current Investment firm. They advised he is a sitting Congressman
would be engaging in unethical behavior by involving himself and his company in
investment scams with start-ups. They
pointed out how this would be totally lacking in ethics to do so, yet, Mr.
Doheny still gives interviews saying he’d be the ‘Salesman in Chief for NY 21 in
spite of the obvious conflict of interest that would be while serving in
Congress.
