Matt Doheny released and ad accusing Congressman Owens of
Lying. Then he turned around and
explained how the polls are all wrong except for the RNC commissioned poll that
says race is within the margin of error.
Matt Doheny says that no way they could be more than 5 pts behind in the
race. Doheny had previously discounted a
DCCC poll released before the Sienna Poll, which said it was a 12 pt race. Doheny said “After all it’s a Democratic
Poll done by DCCC.” Then Sienna
came out with a 13 point advantage for Congressman Bill Owens. Now Global Strategy Poll is also calling it a
14 pt race. In any case Doheny kept sticking
to this 5 pt. margin of error nonsense. So who’s lying here Mr. Doheny? Are we
supposed to believe it’s every polling agency not controlled by you or the
RNC? Matt, you and your people know how
much you’re trailing by at this point in the NY 21 Congressional race so admit
it’s a lot more than five pts.

Global Strategy reports “In our
latest poll, Congressman Bill Owens hits the 50% mark and leads Matt Doheny by
14 points (50% to 36%) with another 14% undecided. This represents a similar
finding to a July Global Strategy Group poll in which Owens led Doheny 48% to
35%”

Roll Call came out late today
and said that NY 21 is leaning Democratic at this point in the race and the
Doheny camp hasn’t commented on that poll yet. The truth is Matt Doheny is
trailing by double digits in the NY 21 Congressional race, but just can’t tell
the truth about it even to himself.
