The truth is that this supposed fiscal Conservative Matt Doheny, NY21 Congressional challenger, would prefer to flood NNY with artificially cheap goods at Wal-Mar and Target, knowing it contributes 250 Billion dollars a year, to our trade deficit that continues growing bigger by the year. Mr. Doheny just wants cheap goods even if we go into hock with China on trade to the tune of 250 Billion a year. Is that Leadership? Mr. Doheny then goes on to label America the number one manipulator of currency in the world. Is he on our side? This guy isn’t Congressional material, but he could easily work as a trade lobbyist for the Chinese government.

Doheny suffers ‘Gropper-nesia in Debate:

It’s a well known fact that Mitt Romney will jettison any previous position and evidently forget he took that position even when it’s on his blog site. In the JCC debate in Watertown, Matt displayed his own version of the ‘Amnesia’ associative disorder,’Gropper-nesia’ which prevents you from remembering what ladies, you’re hands were pawing the night before in a DC. He did do a Romney though and instead blamed it on ‘Democratic’ operatives. At which point he seemed to shrink on the Dias, making Bill Owens look ten feet tall, a minute after Congressman Owens explained his Taiwan trip in a forthright manner. Some study in Contrast that was looking at each candidate for Congress in NY 21. Bill Owens a man of character, and Matt Doheny not taking responsibility, but instead blaming ‘Dem. Operatives’ who must have walked him into that DC Bar.

The threat to turn Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River communities into New York State – Foreign Wind Developer sacrifice zones has torn communities and families apart and has already caused home market values in the targeted towns to be reduced up to 50%. Those families who have made the decision that they do not want to live in an industrial wind harvesting factory have found that they are unable to find buyers for their homes, many right on the shores of the Lake and River, even at incredibly low offerings and at severe losses in their home investment.

Cape Vincent, NY has the additional problem of past wind corruption of public officials with wind leases serving in the government during a time when much of the community engagement by the wind developers was done in secret and only with the lease holders.

The citizens of Cape Vincent changed the direction of the corrupt wind development by electing non-conflicted officials and revising their comprehensive plan and zoning to protect the health, welfare and safety of ALL of the towns residents.

Now British Petroleum, using Article X, has told the towns of Lyme, NY and Cape Vincent, NY that they intend to override our local laws and turn our towns into a New York State – British Petroleum industrial wind sacrifice zone. If this occurs, innocent families who do not want wind will lose millions in their home investments.

After the debate, I asked Bill Owens to take my story of how industrial wind development has negatively impacted my town back to Washington. He told me that my town was the only town in his district that did not want wind and the rest of the wind targeted towns in the 21st. were in favor of wind development. He then agreed that industrial wind should be a local choice of the community of Cape Vincent and told me that he is opposed to Article X.

I also talked to Matt Doheny. Matt told me that he also is opposed to any industrial wind development in the Golden Crescent and Thousand Island Region on New York State’s beautiful St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario. The Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence are very valuable NY-21 assets and should not be destroyed by an overly-subsidized industry which is now being recognized all over the world as having doubtful environmental, technical and economic value.

The only problem is, Nelson, Bill was wrong about Cape Vincent being the only town in the 21 resisting wind. Right after I talked to him he was told by another that the Town of Hammond public officials did not want wind either. Owens clearly is not familiar with his district.

Then there are the officials from the town of Lyme, too.

Do you understand that Article X takes rights of municipal home rule away from citizens? What will they take away next Nelson? The right of leaseholders to use their own land because the state finds it is unsafe for humans to be near wind turbines? Or the rights of people like you to express an anonymous opinion? Perhaps the right of taxing jurisdictions to vote on PILOTs? How about the right of a person to vote at their residence of choice?

It seems to me that the only way pro wind thinks they can get their money and their turbines is to take certain rights of others away.

I believe that the only reason why wind development got as far as it did in my town was because of secret deals and corruption. I believe If were not for bad local public officals’ ethics wind would never have taken a foothold in one of the most precious regions of New York State.

It appears that the Article X siting board will be made well aware of the the perception of corruption and the fact that industrial wind developers should never have come to the Golden Crescent and the Thousand Island Region in the first place.

Your lack of logic never ceases to amaze me, Ms. Sun. How is Obama taking away YOUR job? Do you even work, Ms. Sun? I’m dying to know.

Do you have health insurance through your job or do you leech off of your husband’s insurance, Ms. Sun? Do you have kids? How do they get their health insurance? Purchasing an individual (i.e., not in any group) health policy is prohibitively costly for most Americans.

Have you ever had surgery, Ms. Sun? Do you get an annual mammogram, pap smear and a million other things to make sure that you’re healthy? How about your kids? I bet that they’ve been to the doctor countless times, as have you and your husband (if you have one). What would you do if you didn’t have health insurance? How would you take care of your health needs? Tell us how you would solve that problem. Really. Give us your solution.

My point is this, Ms. Sun. Access to healthcare at a reasonable price is not a luxury item. Staying alive isn’t something frivolous that people can do without. It’s not like blowing money on a fancy car or extra pair of shoes that you really didn’t need. It’s appalling that you think you’re more deserving of decent healthcare than everyone else. Is that what your religion teaches you? If so, America will be a better country the day when everyone grows up and realizes that religion is nothing but fantastical bullshit. But I digress….

You WILL be paying for the health care of the uninsured/poor one way or the other. You always have and always will. You DO NOT have a choice to opt out of paying that portion of your taxes. Hospitals CAN’T refuse to treat someone because of a lack of funds. That’s true in all states, but even more so in NYS. The state’s obligation to help the needy (via YOUR tax dollars) is enshrined in our state constitution.

Write this down, Ms. Sun. Your ONLY choice is whether you want (1) the uninsured to CONTINUE to use the very expensive services of a hospital emergency room for their basic (not to mention catastrophic) health care needs or (2) get them a primary care doctor and preventative health care JUST LIKE YOU. Guess which one is cheaper? It’s option #2. It’s called ObamaCare.

Smarten up, woman.
