Taking a break from pounding her opponent Maggie Brooks, Democratic Rep. Louise Slaughter released a TV ad this afternoon highlighting her support for the district’s businesses.

“I opened doors so that companies in Monreo County can keep our men and women in the military safe. I brought a high-tech bio-science lab to the University of Rochester,” she says in the ad.

Slaughter has repeatedly hammered Brooks in her TV ads and appearances, claiming that she’s been part of a culture of corruption in Monroe County. Some of the claims in the ads have been refuted by the Fair Elections Campaign Committee.
