The campaign of Senate Democratic candidate Terry Gipson sent out this statement today to say thank you to his possible soon-to-be-colleague Sen. Liz Krueger for naming him a post-Election Day “Good Apple.”

“We appreciate Liz Krueger’s offer to eat her hat. We will bring her something with all natural fiber, but we are also thinking of something with a feather.

Better to be a late Good Apple than never. Thank you, Senator Krueger.

We want to point out that she was correct about how the campaign left everything on the field, and transition contributions are most appreciated.”
