SUNY Chancellor Zimpher on Teacher Education
Thursday in Albany, SUNY hosted a national teacher education summit. With help from Race to the Top funding, the state Education Department worked with SUNY to come up with the S-TEN initiative, which has the goal of improving the preparation for teachers and school leaders so they can better meet the needs of New York’s Children. SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher explains.
