Gov. Andrew Cuomo released a new batch of public schedules for the months showing a round of mostly in-state political trips, efforts to keep the Bills in Orchard Park and, toward the end of October, the flurry of activity during Hurricane Sandy.

The period released last week covers September and October this year.

As before, the schedules were posted on his “Citizens Connect” website.

The schedules show Cuomo used private aircraft to travel to a variety of political functions, including his day trip down to Charlotte for the final night of the Democratic National Convention. He also took a private plane to a fundraiser at Yankee Stadium on Oct. 10. Less than a week later on Oct. 16, Cuomo took a private plane to Hosftra University on Long Island to watch the presidential debate between Mitt Romney and President Obama (the trip also included an impromptu visit by the governor to the “spin room).

On Oct. 23, Cuomo took a private plane again to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Comittee fundraiser and later on Oct. 26 traveled on private aircraft to personally endorse Democratic candidates for the House of Representatives in Rochester, Syracuse and Hauppauge.

Whether Cuomo 2014 paid for the trips itself or if they were listed as “in-kind” contribution will be on his next campaign-finance report due out next month.

Meanwhile, the schedules show Cuomo huddling with aides in meetings about the Buffalo Bills, with three meetings alone in October with counsel Myland Denerstein, Secretary Larry Schwartz and State Director of Operations Howard Glaser. Cuomo also had a call with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the league’s CFO Joe Siclare.

In September, Cuomo also had a scheduled call with Jeffrey Littmann, the team’s chief financial officer.

When it came to preparing for Hurricane Sandy, Cuomo’s schedules say his first meeting was Oct. 25, the Thursday before the storm hit. Sitting in on the meeting were Glaser, Homeland Security Director Jerome Hauer, spokesman Josh Vlasto and the incoming Communications Director Allison Gollust.

As was public before, Cuomo that weekend traveled across the upstate and downstate to assess hurricane preparedness.

That Monday, his day ended with a “driving tour of lower Manhattan” that began at 10:05 p.m.
