Assem. Russell Explains Changes to “Mark’s Law”

The recent shooting in Webster New York that claimed the lives of two firefighters has reignited a debate over a bill called Mark’s Law. The legislation is named after Emergency Medical Technician Mark Davis, who was shot and killed while responding to a call back in 2009. The bill would put into place stiffer penalties for those who kill emergency responders. Assemblywoman Addie Russell is the sponsor of Mark’s Law, and she’s made some changes to it since last year.

The host of CrapTon should have asked Ms. Russell how her bill would have prevented the Journal News from publishing their map (a decision that I applaud). The answer is: it wouldn’t have.

Part 2 of her bill is goofy, too. The woman is an embarrassment to Dems. The fact that she’s an attorney makes her lameness even worse!

“Assemblywoman Russell is a Winner”

Addie Russell’s Bill attempt’s to keep servants of the people who are killed by Assassins and Maniacs from getting back onto the streets. Assembly woman Russell doesn’t shy away from tough issues, she came out for a rise in the ‘Minimum Wage’ before anyone else I know did, and she has been extremely active in promoting quality education in NNY. Addie Russell has stood up for woman’s right to equal pay and fought for Farmers to get hurricane relief, etc. Assembly woman Russell does a great job for NNY and the people know it that live there.
