The Legislature this morning unveiled the first series of joint budget committee which begin Jan. 28.

The first meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. that morning with the Joint Committee on Local Government Officials/General Government.

The meetings run through Feb. 27 with the Committee on Workforce Development.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s $142.6 billion budget is due by April 1.

The hearings will be broadcast on the legislative cable channel and on the Assembly and Senate websites.
