The Republican Response From Skelos

In FACT, the man who killed Kendra recently wrote in a newspaper that he is appalled how little has changed with that law. He wrote just after 2 new train pushing deaths had occured within days/weeks. The most recent pusher was a classic example of the system failing.

In fact failures with NCIS reporting still allows too too many guns in the wrong hands.. I will quote from a friend who brought this up on a local noon hour program.

“As I understand it, federal laws encourage courts, law enforcement,
mental hospitals, etc. to send the names of persons who have been
committed to involuntary treatment for mental illness and/or found not guilty of a crime by reason on insanity to the federal NICS database that gun dealers check before selling weapons.

“In fact, states are given significant grants to allow them to hire enough people to do accurate reporting of this population of people who should not have guns. Still, only 11 states receive the grants, and (OUR) state is not one of them.”

Let’s all agree to tighten this up before we get into something which some will without doubt characterize as “draconian”. Lets start with the possible.

I guess Dean Skelos will be distributing his resume after the next election. The Second Amendment isn’t about the right to shoot a Deer. It’s about the right to shoot at tyrants in Government.

You are a loser, you have betrayed those who put you in office and are a koolaid drinking idiot. You better hope your voters in your district don’t think like me cause if they do a recall election is coming your way
