Assem. Moya on the DREAM Act
The Assembly’s higher ed committee passed the DREAM Act Tuesday, allowing it to go to the full chamber for a vote. The act would allow undocumented immigrants to be eligible for financial assistance for college. This year, supporters are more determined than every to get it through the Assembly and Senate. Assemblyman Francisco Moya discusses how the bill has changed from previous years, and why that’s making him optimistic about its chances.
